Building relationships, meeting needs, sharing Christ, and making disciples among indigenous families in Panamá.
What is LIFT
LIFT — Loving Indigenous Families Together — is a ministry initiative flowing out of our work among indigenous communities in Panamá.
LIFT exists to build relationships, meet tangible needs, and open doors for the Gospel. We believe that genuine relationships create opportunities to share the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

The Story Behind LIFT
It started with Christmas.
As we began talking about Christmas, we realized just how different this season would be. It would be our first Christmas away from our family, our traditions, and the people we love.
One of our favorite traditions has always been Angel Tree. So, we began wondering what a new Christmas tradition might look like here in Panamá. We asked around and discovered there really wasn’t anything like Angel Tree here, so we began thinking about what we could do.
At first, our idea was simple: bless one family at Christmas.
But as we prayed, God began placing something much bigger on our hearts:
What if we could bless an entire community—not just one family, but every family?
That question changed everything.
We reached out to our Panamanian friends—Melissa, César, and Dayra. We shared the vision with them, prayed together, talked through ideas, and dreamed about what God might want to do.
We had one idea, but God had something bigger in mind. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. What started as a simple desire to bless one family became a vision to reach an entire community.
And what better way to celebrate Christmas than to love, serve, and share Christ?
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD... For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:8–9
Our Current Project
Christmas 2026
Watch the video —> For our very first LIFT project.
This Christmas, we’re partnering with you to provide food baskets and a Bible for 60 indigenous families—approximately 220 people.
Each basket includes basic staple foods to help meet an immediate physical need, along with a Bible that opens the door to something much greater: relationships, conversation, and the opportunity to share the love of Christ.
The basket is the bridge—not the destination.
Our hope is that these simple acts of love will help us build genuine, healthy relationships with families and communities, creating opportunities to walk alongside them and share the hope we have in Jesus.
Meet a need. Build a relationship. Share Christ.
Our goal: 60 families | ~220 people | $100 per family
Giving deadline: November 1, 2026
